This role is vital in ensuring safe, effective anesthesia services at our Level II Trauma Hospital in Boise, Idaho, with additional coverage required at Nampa. Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of post-residency anesthesia experience
• Valid license to practice medicine in Idaho or eligible through the IMLC
• DEA certification
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques
• Ability to perform own cases or work effectively within a supervising/care team model
• Comfortable with OB anesthesia (including starting sections; CRNAs sit the section)
• Experience with trauma and emergency procedures preferred but not required

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in trauma settings
• Familiarity with community-based hospital environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and call shifts

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• At least 1 year of post-residency experience in anesthesiology

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work in Boise primarily, with occasional coverage at Nampa (a few days per month)
• Ability to accommodate a schedule including weekdays, nights, weekends, and call shifts
• Must have or be able to obtain licensure, DEA registration, and necessary certifications prior to start
• Availability to start on or after June 1, 2026
