Concord Hospital Gastroenterology | Concord & Laconia, New Hampshire

Concord Hospital Gastroenterology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join its growing employed practice in central New Hampshire. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative, physician-focused GI team offering excellent clinical support, modern facilities, and a highly desirable four-day work week.

Position Highlights

  • Employed, full-time permanent position
  • 4-day work week (4 x 10-hour shifts)
  • Combination inpatient, outpatient, and endoscopy practice
  • One outreach clinic day per week in Laconia, NH
  • Established team of 6 Gastroenterologists with continued growth plans
  • Supported by 7 experienced APPs
  • No APP supervision requirements
  • Integrated Cerner EMR system
  • Endoscopy suite located within the clinic building

Clinical Practice

This balanced GI opportunity provides a strong mix of procedures and clinic responsibilities with excellent inpatient APP support. Physicians benefit from efficient patient scheduling and a collaborative environment that prioritizes quality patient care.

Practice details include:

  • 30-minute new patient appointments
  • 30-minute follow-up appointments
  • Approximately 8 hours of patient contact daily
  • Physicians perform approximately 4 scopes while APPs assist with inpatient rounding and consults
  • Moderate sedation for endoscopy procedures required

Call Schedule

  • 1:6 weekday call
  • 1:6 weekend call
  • In-house APPs take first call
  • No separate hospital call responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary: $546,204
  • Productivity and performance bonuses available
  • wRVU incentive model:
    • 8,474 threshold
    • $66.11 per wRVU above threshold
  • Sign-on bonus up to $40,000
  • Relocation assistance up to $10,000
  • PSLF eligible employer
  • CME allowance: $4,000 annually
  • License and DEA reimbursement
  • 403(b) with employer match plus 457(b)
  • Malpractice with tail coverage provided
  • 5–6 weeks PTO/CME plus 6 paid holidays
