SIOUX CENTER HEALTH

The hospital is well suited to serve the health care needs of the Sioux Center community as well as Northwest Iowa.  This is a community owned and operated, non-profit health care organization.  The hospital is a certified 21-bed acute facility including a “swing bed” (skilled nursing) program allowing for continued stay once the patient has been discharged from acute care.   The 24-hour Emergency Room is highly prepared with a level four-trauma rating.  We have in-house radiology and three general surgeons on staff. The Hospital’s Outpatient Specialty Clinics include ENT, Cardiology, Orthopedics, along with 21 other specialists, saving patients travel time and expense.There are two newly remodeled birthing rooms available in the family centered obstetrics department.   Our new long-term care nursing facility provides intermediate care services and is certified by Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursement.
