Join our highly respected team!  Become the Lead Medical Oncologist at one site:  Good Samaritan in Vincennes, IN. Employed by Deaconess Cancer services, this team of 8 highly trained Oncologists serves patients in southern IN and northern KY.

Position Highlights:

  • Accredited by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer since 1979
  • Outstanding quality of life; 4 day or 4.5-day work week with limited home call
  • 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
  • Approximately 90% Oncology/ 10% Hematology (Providers see solid tumor cases (breast, lung, colon, prostate, and minimal benign hematology)
  • Ramp up quickly – established practice averaging 30+ new patients per month
  • State of the art equipment including 1.5 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sequoia and Juniper for Ultrasound, and 128 slice CT scanner
  • Well-trained & experienced APPs, nurse navigators and support staff
  • Oncology clinic conveniently located near radiation oncology, infusion center, radiology services, and the inpatient unit
  • Hospitalist team admits – Oncologist is consulting physician; low inpatient census
  • ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Program affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine

  • Employed by Deaconess Specialty Physicians, a system of 350+ providers
