Seeking BE/BC Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join Avera University Psychiatry Associates, a well established group of psychiatrists

The providers are employed by Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center and receive a generous benefit package.

• Duties include comprehensive treatment of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and the teaching and supervising of medical students, and child & adolescent psychiatry residents. Positions are open at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
• The Avera Behavioral Health Center, a beautiful 110-bed inpatient facility was built in 2006 and features programs to care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.  The Avera Behavioral Health Center is also home to the Avera Institute for Human Behavioral Genetics, which includes research scientists, a genetics lab dedicated to psychiatry, advanced technological capabilities for genetic research, and a CyP450 machine for liver enzyme testing.  There is also a strong emphasis on telepsychiatry and interactive distance learning services.  Avera McKennan is a Magnet Hospital and a Distinguished Clinical Hospital.
