Opportunity available for a full-time outpatient Internal Medicine physician in beautiful Southern Colorado.  Enjoy manageable patient volumes and access to skiing, snowboarding, fly fishing and hiking in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo and San Juan mountain ranges.

Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians work closely with midlevel providers in primary care. Behavioral health services are integrated in the primary care model for the delivery of optimal patient care.  Diabetes navigators and anti-coagulation nurse complement the practice for treatment of chronic disease management.  The clinic is part of a larger system group, including two hospitals and five clinics.

Compensation

• Competitive salary with bonus potential

Practice overview: Hospital-Employed Position. Outpatient clinic attached to a 49-bed hospital.  

Type of practice: Outpatient only

Call schedule: Phone call only. 1:9 call. Full-time hospitalist program on inpatient side.

Expected patient load: 15-18 patients daily average.

Procedures needed: General outpatient clinic

EMR – Meditech

Radiology services – 128 slice CT scanner, 1.5 Tesla MRI, Ultrasound in ED and Portable GlideScope. X-ray services available in clinic.
