Adult/General Psychiatry in Reno/Lake Tahoe
The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is currently seeking a General Psychiatrist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor who has experience with diverse populations and prior academic leadership experience. This is a full time, non-tenure track position and responsible for clinical and classroom teaching of general psychiatry medical students and psychiatry residents, including clinical supervision and small group teaching. This position will also provide direct clinical care in clinical settings affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
The ideal candidate must possess:
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
- Successful completion of Psychiatry residency by time of hire
- ABPN certification in general psychiatry within 2 years of hire date
- Prior academic experience
