Geriatric Psychiatrist - South of Boston

Steward Morton Hospital in Taunton MA is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our Comprehensive Psychiatry Program. This is a full-time position which involves direct patient care for patients admitted to Morton Hospital. The ideal psychiatrist will be a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. The psychiatrist will also work closely with the Chief of Psychiatry in helping grow the behavioral health services at Morton Hospital. 

Morton Hospital offers a full range of behavioral health treatment services, including a 19-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, a robust psychiatric consultative practice and electroconvulsive therapy.  The geriatric psychiatry program at Morton Hospital is known for its high patient satisfaction and quality of care.

Call is 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month. Weekend call includes rounding.
