Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine - Sleep Optional Opportunity
The Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG) has excellent full time opportunities for Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physicians to join a growing group located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The selected physicians will join other Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physicians in a rapidly expanding center. In addition to replacing retiring physicians, HCMG desires to initiate a Sleep Apnea program for surgical patients who are at risk or have sleep apnea. The group plans to provide these patients consults on admission with a pulmonologist to properly prepare/ screen them prior to anesthesia.
This opportunity has a traditional Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm clinic schedule, with a shared call of 1:4. For physicians interested in moonlighting, Intensivist opportunities are available with a local group.
Preference will be shown to candidates with three to five years of experience, although new graduates are encouraged to apply. Additional preferences include training in Invasive Pulmonary medicine, Navigational Bronchoscopy and EBUS. Physicians who are specialized in or have interest in Sleep Medicine are encouraged to apply, though this is not a requirement for employment.
