Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Reading Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to work as an independent health-care provider, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care to newborn infants in our Level III NICU. The NNP will establish medical diagnosis; order and evaluate diagnostic studies; monitor therapeutic procedures and manage follow-up plans. Participates and conducts newborn resuscitation to current employees in multiple departments.
The schedule is 14/15, twelve hour shifts (7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am) each month. Our physicians work 24 hour in-house shifts therefore are always available for support.
Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program. Experience as an Neonatal Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred. Knowledge of the philosophy behind the NNP practice, physical assessment, and management of acute and chronic patient / family issue are desired.
