General Radiologist - Hawaii
The Imaging Institute’s Department of Regional Radiology at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking a versatile Board Certified Radiologist to join a team of radiologists at a community hospital located in Waimea Hawaii. The hospital is the only private hospital of three hospitals on The Big Island of Hawaii and is owned by the Queens Hospital system in Honolulu, Oahu. The radiology department is operated and managed by Cleveland Clinic and serves as a component of the overnight service for mainland Cleveland Clinic Hospitals. Hawaii overnight cases are read by Cleveland-based radiologists. The PACS system and voice recognition is integrated with the Cleveland Clinic Imaging Institute. A home reading station is supported.
The ideal candidate will have formal fellowship training and a broad general radiology background (plain film, ultrasound, CT), including interpretation of MRI Abd/pelvis, spine, and joints if possible. This position also involves light intervention including thoracentesis, paracentesis, LP, abscess drainage and PICC line placement, screening and diagnostic mammography and ultrasound, and some interventional breast. Cleveland Clinic Sub-specialty consultation is available at all times.
