South Central Ohio Psychiatric Associates, affiliated with Highland District Hospital, has a full-time position for a Psychiatric physician. The Practice Group is a highly respected practice located in beautiful Hillsboro, OH.  This practice is dedicated as the sole provider of psychiatric and geriatric psychiatric services in the county, and surrounding areas.

 The ideal physician will work closely with the multi-specialty group members and communicate well with patients.  We need a physician who is anxious to walk into a busy practice.  Our physicians are engaged with our community patients and rewarded for their efforts.  Benefits and compensation include:

Located approximately 50 miles from three major cities- Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati- Hillsboro, Ohio, in Highland County, offers many urban amenities, in a suburban area and atmosphere. Many residents enjoy access to YMCA facilities, two golf courses within the county, and 2 state parks with lake access that includes thousands of acres for hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, boating, and camping. Hillsboro, and surrounding Highland County, is home to many peaceful Amish and Mennonite communities that own farms and stores that are open to the public. Highland District Hospital is currently a critical access designated, 25-bed acute care facility. We currently employ more than 340 people and benefit from the services of 70 community volunteers. Our medical staff includes 60 physicians – 98% of whom are board certified – and represents 23 specialties and sub-specialties. While we are a community-centered hospital, we are also known for our technology and sophisticated healthcare services. Our service area includes over 65,000 residents from Highland County and surrounding counties.
