Breast Imaging Specialist, No Call
UPMC Hamot, located in Erie Pennsylvania, has an exciting opportunity for a Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team of experienced fellowship trained Breast Imagers. UPMC Hamot Breast Imaging department is a comprehensive, state of the art facility where breast imagers work closely with dedicated breast surgeons, pathologists, and medical and radiation oncologists to provide multidisciplinary care to the patients we serve. Comprehensive services include 3D Mammography, breast US, MRI, radioactive seed localization, and imaged guided core biopsy (stereotactic, US and MRI). We are a Breast Center of Excellence and are NAPBC Certified. UPMC Hamot partners with the prestigious UPMC Hillman Cancer Center to provide our patients with local access to breakthrough research and leading-edge therapies.
As UPMC Hamot's regional presence as a tertiary hub has expanded in recent years, it means more acutely ill patients are in-need of a higher quality of care. Project 20/20, a seven-story patient tower scheduled to be completed in 2020, will house 64 intensive care beds. In addition, the new patient tower will expand critical care services to include medical, surgical, cardiovascular, neuro and trauma critical care. At $111 million, it will be the biggest capital project in UPMC Hamot's history.
- A competitive compensation package including a $400,000+ base salary depending on experience, with the potential to earn an additional $100,000 in productivity incentive.
- UPMC Hamot is also offering a $50,000 sign on bonus, $10,000 Quality Incentive,
- Additional compensation is negotiable for an administrative directorship.
- Our position is 100% dedicated to breast imaging, Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with no call, no weekends and no holidays! No travel between sites!
Successful candidates should have:
- Proficiency in all areas of breast imaging
- Fellowship training in breast imaging preferred or several years’ experience dedicated exclusively to breast imaging
- ABS certified/board eligible
