Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care Opportunity
St. Peter's Health Partners and St. Mary's Hospital Wound Care have excellent full time employment opportunities for Nurse Practitioners to provide advanced wound care in either a Nursing Home or outpatient setting located in Troy, New York.
The selected Nurse Practitioner will work independently, providing treatment for chronic wounds, along with education, support, and resources to maximize self-care and healing for each patient. This Nurse Practitioner would have access to advanced techniques and therapies – including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy through the Capital Region’s only multi patient hyperbaric chamber.
The schedule for this opportunity will be Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend requirements.
Candidates will need to be ANCC certified and licensed to practice in New York. This opportunity requires two to four years of experience, preferably in wound care, an office or in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will be patient centered, committed to providing high quality team based healthcare, have exceptional clinical and communication skills and possess a strong commitment to providing high quality healthcare to the communities we serve, inclusive of the underserved.

St. Mary's Hospital will become a focal point for the system’s behavioral health program, as well as a consolidated ambulatory center that will include a new outpatient cancer treatment facility, which will offer radiation therapy, infusion and psychosocial support services. Emergency and surgical services, endoscopy, imaging, cardiac rehab, outpatient physical therapy, sleep studies and primary care services will also continue at St. Mary’s.
