Exciting Opportunity for Wound Care APRN/PA
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our General Surgery team to provide wound and ostomy care services. This position is a full-time, benefited, Monday through Friday daytime position.The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in providing wound and/or ostomy care in a registered nursing, advancing nursing, or physician assistant role. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to general surgery patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, providing patient education, and consulting and collaborating with the team to provide the highest standard of care. Specific clinical responsibilities are wound debridement including wound vac and snap vac, IV therapy, dressing changes, and ostomy care, including colectomy, pouching, and device management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requirements for Nurse Practitioners: RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in NH. Successful completion of an approved NP program and certification required.
Requirements for Physician Assistant: Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level required.
