We are seeking a skilled, dynamic, and personable Neurosurgeon for On-Call Coverage for Friday PM-Monday AM shift or Monday am-Friday pm shift.
The ideal candidate is a board certified neurosurgeon (American Board of Neurological Surgery), but the team will consider Board Eligible candidates within 3 years of finishing an ACGME Accredited Neurosurgery Residency.
St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center provides state of the art resources including Stryker Navigation, Medtronic Stealth, Leksell Gamma Knife, and Neuro ICU-PCU units. The medical community has an excellent network of neuroscience physicians including neurologists, anesthesiologists, critical care physicians, ED physicians, and PM&R specialists. There is superb radiology support including seven neuroradiologists and two highly skilled neurointerventional radiologists who treat complex neurovascular conditions. A comprehensive trauma team admits and cares for trauma patients with neurosurgical consultation. We have a close working relationship with the orthopedic spine surgeons in our community. We do not treat children, as they are cared for at a pediatric hospital outside of our system.
