The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic has a faculty position opening for a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care within Cleveland Clinic Health System.
Candidates must have completed an accredited BC/BE Plastic Surgery training program as well as have advanced Fellowship training in microsurgery.
The successful applicant will be involved in the full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Significant opportunity exists in the area of implant/expander based breast reconstruction; free flap breast reconstruction; complex wound management secondary to subspecialty consultations; and aesthetic breast, body and facial surgery.
The successful candidate will have experience with program building and working in a multidisciplinary manner with colleagues in numerous specialties. A focus on teaching and an interest in participating in active research programs are also desired as we sponsor an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery training program.
The Department of Plastic Surgery includes 14 board-certified plastic surgeons, making it one of the largest plastic surgery departments in the country. Our specialists have significant experience and expertise in all areas of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, especially in the areas of facial cosmetic surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, pediatric craniofacial surgery, upper extremity surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and plastic surgery research.
