Oversee the General Medicine Unit faculty, including its educational, clinical, and academic responsibilities, based at Unity Hospital and affiliated with the University of Rochester Medical School.

About the Opportunity 

  • Official title – “Division Head, General Medical Unit (GMU)” working in collaboration with the Residency Program Director
  • Teaching center for up to 25 residents from PGY1-PGY3 and ensures ACGME competencies are met
  • Leads Unity Faculty Partners including faculty development, obligations and performance
  • Schedule of 5 days/week with 70 percent teaching/administration and 30% patient care
  • Precept a minimum of three ambulatory sessions per week
  • Faculty appointment provided from University of Rochester     
  • Guaranteed base compensation with incentive bonus plus a rich benefits package that includes health, life, disability and malpractice insurance
