Vascular Surgeon Opportunity

Vascular Surgeon Opportunity:

Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a motivated and capable board eligible or board certified Vascular Surgeon to join a well-established and growing program.   Candidates must be fellowship trained with a passion for vascular surgery and experience in open and endovascular procedures.  Experience in aortic surgery, lower extremity revascularization, carotid intervention, and venous procedures is preferred.

The hospital is a Level 1 trauma center, a certified stroke center, a chest pain center certified with PCI, and the only sepsis center of excellence in Ohio.  Residencies include general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, ENT, and family medicine.  The OR has large operating suites including a Seimens hybrid operating room and the cardiac catheterization lab has a dedicated peripheral suite.

The practice is busy with open and endovascular aneurysm repair including fenestrated stent grafts, carotid endarterectomy and stenting, open and percutaneous lower extremity revascularization, venous and dialysis procedures, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine.

Office conveniently located adjacent to the hospital.  Excellent support from advanced practice clinicians. No buy in, no overhead, no seniority issues.  Vascular surgery performs all endovascular procedures with no internal competition from cardiology or interventional radiology.

Highly completive salary, relocation and benefit package, 403B, retirement, education loan repayment and other benefits.
