Acute Care APRN
MetroHealth Department of Neurosurgery is hiring an APRN (must be acute care certified). This job may require working day or night shift and sometimes weekends. Much of the work is in a new and rapidly growing Neuro Critical Care Unit, with dedicated Neurointensivist leadership. Cross training and cross coverage with Neurosurgery service is expected. The Neurosurgery service involves the perioperative care of neurosurgical patients, and seeing emergency and routine consultations. MetroHealth is a Level 1 trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center, so the providers on call are expected to be the first person who sees the new consults.
Experience in neurosurgery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
