Job Description

We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon that is fellowship trained in trauma to join one other in private practice. The existing physician is well-established with a highly regarded orthopedic trauma practice in Las Vegas. The existing orthopedist has been in Las Vegas since 2007 and has developed a reputation held in high regard. The new physician will be employed for up to two years with a competitive salary and full range of benefits. Partnership after two years is a consideration.

Job duties include at least 6 days of trauma call at a busy level II trauma center. While the trauma call will keep a candidate very busy, elective cases are welcomed.

The hospital is the largest in the HCA chain with over 700+ beds. No discipline goes uncovered and the service lines are comprehensive. A recent hospital expansion opening in the fall of 2019 includes a new adult ER with multiple trauma bays, ICU tower, and more.

This groups covers only one facility - Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 701-bed acute care facility with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The Trauma Center is a Level II designation. The medical complex includes Nevada's only dedicated Children's Hospital and specializes in women's and children's services; cardiovascular, oncology, neurology, medical and surgical services and 24-hour emergency care.
