MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join a consultative outpatient practice in a Des Moines metro clinic. MercyOne offers a competitive compensation package including paid malpractice, relocation assistance, sign on bonus and excellent benefit package options. 

Details

  • Monday- Friday schedule
  • Outpatient only/no call/no rounding 
  • Provision of care includes a collaborative care management approach
  • Multidisciplinary team includes primary care, psychiatry, licensed therapists, and specialty providers 
  • Behavioral Health Integration model within a primary care setting 
  • Short term medication prescribing with referral back to primary care
  • Assessment, care and treatment of adult psychiatric patients
  • Participate in lectures and academic appointment with medical students in support of the psychiatry residency program
