Physician - Urgent Care—Madison/Janesville, WI
The Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500+ physician multi-specialty group headquartered in Madison, WI, is actively recruiting for an Urgent Care physician. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Family Medicine or a related field. The Urgent Care staff of Dean Medical Group covers two clinics in Madison and one in Janesville, 30 miles south of Madison.  Each physician works roughly 35-40 hours per week. Urgent Care is open from 7:00 AM-8:00 PM on weekdays, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM on weekends, and 7:00 AM-4:00 PM on holidays.  Excellent hourly compensation, fringe benefits, and a signing bonus will be provided.
The Hospitals
SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison has been serving South Central Wisconsin since 1912.  The hospital is a 350-bed tertiary care and referral center with a full spectrum of medical and surgical services. SSM St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital opened in January 2012. It is a state-of-the-art 50-bed facility and is located at the intersection of Highways 90 and 11 on the southern outskirts of Janesville.  The two hospitals and Dean Medical Group are part of SSM Health, an integrated health system that has facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

A mid-sized city of 60,000 people, Janesville residents enjoy their beautiful, family-oriented community for its excellent schools and abundant recreational opportunities.  Residents enjoy a plentiful array of golfing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities.  Janesville was settled in 1836 after Henry Janes traveled to the area.
