PATHOLOGIST - Work Life Balance and Loan Repayment!
The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks a Pathologist to join our team of 5 board certified physicians. As a 173 bed, Level II Trauma center, the highest trauma designation in Alaska, ANMC represents over 20 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. Our breadth of pathology, cohesive team and breathtaking geography make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
As a hospital based general practice serving adult and pediatric patients, you will focus primarily on performing anatomical pathology for a diverse array of cases and perform a more limited volume of clinical pathology.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; On-call – 1:4 weeks.
Qualifications: Completion of an ACGME/AOA residency in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology; Board certification in both Anatomical and Clinical Pathology; minimum 10 years post residency experience in a community hospital laboratory preferred.
