Northern Light Inland Hospital - Primary Care Physician/Inpatient-Long Term Care Medical Director - MD/DO

Northern Light Inland Hospital is seeking a full time board certified/board eligible MD/DO to join a well-established outpatient practice for outpatient internal medicine and geriatrics. Role would include as Medical Director for Long term care facility on site. Provider would split time for outpatients and nursing home patients. Provider would be responsible for the provision of quality care by coordinating with other providers and specialists and meeting comprehensive and professional standards. Must have a current and valid state of Maine license and DEA controlled substance registration. Ability to work well with others, adapt to a team-atmosphere culture, interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Ability to adjust and accept EMR concepts, handle multiple tasks and delegate as needed are required. Must be ACLS certified. Must have at least 2 years' experience in internal or family practice.
