The Division of IR currently includes 7 IR Radiologists, supported by dedicated NPs, RNs, and RTs, as well as Fellows and Residents.  In addition, it currently operates with 6 IR procedure rooms across the OSU University Hospitals and 3 state-of-the-art rooms in the James Cancer Hospital.  The IR team performs a myriad of interventional procedures, including interventional oncology, post-transplant interventions, and prostate artery embolization. By joining our faculty, you have the opportunity to work within a prominent radiology department and nationally renowned cancer program, committed to growth; uncompromising patient care, education and research; and our singular vision: to create the future of medicine, one patient, one discovery at a time.

OSUWMC includes the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, a state-of-the-art NCI-designated cancer-care facility, representing the third largest cancer hospital in the United States and a founding institution of ORIEN.  OSUWMC cancer-care is supported by a very active IR-based Interventional Oncology (IO) program functioning within a highly collegial and progressive, multi-disciplinary work group environment and offering a full range of IO procedures (e.g. radio-embolization, chemo-embolization, percutaneous ablations) along with involvement in multiple ongoing trials.
