Health and Bariatric Psychology - Faculty

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is seeking to fill a new faculty position in Health and Bariatric Psychology.

This is a primarily clinical position, with opportunities for participation in research available. The position will conduct outpatient psychotherapy/behavioral medicine interventions and perform psychological evaluations and interventions with both surgical and non-surgical weight management patients. Opportunities to teach and clinically supervise psychology interns are also available.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in bariatric psychology and/or health psychology, and high potential for research, including external grant writing. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, and must hold or be eligible to apply for an Illinois clinical psychology license. This position offers competitive salary, benefits, and an academic rank commensurate with experience.
