Opportunity Overview

Covenant Medical Group (CMG), the employed physician network of  Covenant HealthCare,  is seeking a BC/BE neurosurgeon, with a preference for neuroendovascular training, to join an expanding neurosciences program. This neurosurgeon will join a neuroscience team comprised of three neurosurgeons and four  medical neurologists, with support from a strong group of  neuroradiologists. 

The region’s busiest emergency department with about 100,000 visits per year. Ten-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. Robust hospitalist service provides medical consultative support. Post-acute care hospital by Mary Free Bed attached to Covenant HealthCare hospital facilities.

As a Primary Stroke Center, Covenant was recently granted the highest award by the American Stroke Association for providing outstanding stroke care. Comprehensive Stroke Center status is waiting for you!

State of the art stroke rehabilitation services are provided through a joint venture partnership between Covenant HealthCare and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.  The inpatient rehabilitation program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).There are several physiatrists on staff to direct rehabilitation care and neuropsychology consultation service available.
