Premier Health is seeking three vascular surgeons to join our academic, community-based program in Dayton, OH.

  • This is a very busy practice with a diverse variety of cases, from bread and butter vascular surgery to complex, challenging pathologies.
  • We are seeking board certified/board eligible vascular surgeons to join our program.
  • This position is 100% vascular surgery.
  • The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator able to work in a fast paced, supportive, team environment.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with a wide breadth of open and endovascular cases.
  • Vascular surgery also supports this level one trauma center.
  • Call would be no more than 1 in 5.
  • Any interest in building a complex aortic program alongside our award-winning cardiothoracic surgery department would be encouraged and supported.

Our main site is Miami Valley Hospital, a 913 bed, non-profit hospital which serves 9 surrounding counties. 

MVH is equipped with 2 hybrid operating rooms: one being the Siemens Pheno ARTIS hybrid suite. 

The hospital has a long-standing relationship with Wright State/Boonshoft School of Medicine.  Multiple residency programs, including general surgery, as well as medical students rotate through year around.   If there is interest in building an academic career, ample opportunities abound, and academic ranking can be pursued with our medical school affiliate. Scholarly activity is strongly encouraged.  We are members of the SVS Vascular Quality Initiative.
