TN Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services has an openings for full-time Psychiatrists for acute, in-patient adult care. 

Opportunities available in these four locations: 

• Memphis Mental Health Institute in Memphis, TN
• Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute in Nashville, TN
• Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar, TN
• Moccasin Bend Mental Health, Chattanooga, TN

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proven experience in successfully initiating and sustaining multi-agency and multi-community policy, system, and environmental change strategies.

• A demonstrated working knowledge of persons with complex psychiatric and addiction issues and their families.
• Proven skills in networking among a diverse group of agencies and organizations.
• Effective communication skills, including written and public speaking, and adept at dealing with people at various levels within the organization, as well as, external stakeholders and leaders.

Education & Experience:

• Four year's Psychiatric residency training from an accredited program
• License to practice medicine in Tennessee
