Family Medicine Position in Lima, OH (on I-75 between Dayton & Toledo)

Mercy Health St. Rita's in Lima, OH is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join two experienced, busy providers in our Lima Family Medicine office. Lima is a city of 38,000 and the catchment area for St. Rita's is over 480,000.   

Enjoy small city, suburban, or rural living with a great work/life balance.  Many of our providers live in Shawnee Township just southwest of Lima. We are an easy interstate drive to cities like Toledo, Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Fort Wayne, Detroit, and Chicago. 

Highlights:

• Assess/evaluate, diagnose, establish plans of care
• Treat, including referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
• Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories as well as Virtual Visits
• Primary care - all age groups
• Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board and the Mercy Health St. Rita's credentialing boards
• Coordinate patient care, assessments
• Counsel and advise patients regarding concerns
• Be available for call relating to patient conditions per the call schedule, includes holiday responsibilities as well as coverage for PTO/ATO
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives as defined by Medicate, CPC+ and Mercy Health
