MercyOne Iowa Heart is seeking fellowship trained cardiac surgeon to join it busy established practice. The ideal candidate will have proven excellent technical and interpersonal skills willing to work as a team. The surgeon will engage in a busy surgical case load supporting the cardiac surgery program with very active coronary, valve and aortic surgery case mix. Training or exposure to TAVR, ECMO, and wire skills are desirable. Cardiac surgical case volume is over 1000 cases with established STS recognized outcomes.

Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest Cardiovascular, Cardiology & Vascular practices in the Country.  Specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Advanced Heart Failure, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and General Cardiology.   Iowa Heart Center is comprised of 10 primary locations and 30+ outreach facilities, spanning across Iowa.  We are an active participant in STS Registries (adult, congenital and anesthesia) and perform more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.
