Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Are you a Hospitalist/Nocturnist seeking to practice in a community hospital setting where you will also have the resources of an academic medical center? Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont, a system member of Dartmouth Hitchcock Health in New Hampshire and Vermont, is seeking a Hospitalist/Nocturnist to join their collaborative team.
What We Offer:

• 10 hour day shifts with rotating night shifts (total 13 to 14 shifts a month)
• Flexible monthly scheduling and generous CME stipend
• Day team consists of one hospitalist and one nurse practitioner
• Average daily census of 20 to 22 patients
• No ICU coverage
• Procedures experience not required
• Opportunities to mentor and teach Geisel Dartmouth College medical students
• Potential for growth into leadership roles within hospital committees, quality initiatives, and more
• Ability to consult with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center specialists located just 30 minutes away

What We Are Seeking:

• BC/BE Hospitalists in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Candidate interested in practicing in a small community setting
• Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, collaborative, and able to work independently
