Surgicalist (Float)

Franciscan Medical Group seeks a full-time General Surgeon to provide on-call and ED coverage at our King County Hospital locations.  Locations include:

• St. Anne Hospital in Burien, a level IV trauma hospital located 15 miles south of Seattle
• St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, a level V critical access hospital, located 42 miles southeast of Seattle
• St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, a level IV trauma hospital, 25 miles south of Seattle

Float Surgicalist Position Details:
• Enjoy a set schedule comprised of 14 shifts per month (168 shifts per year); Each shift is 24 hours of coverage at the selected hospital location.  

• Provide general and trauma surgery coverage in the ED and inpatient setting

• Conduct post-op follow up visit if needed

• Work collaboratively with an experienced and collegial team of general surgeons

Requirements include:

• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery by time of employment (ABS)
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
