OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become part of a physician led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.

  • Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children and adults.
  • Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • No addiction medicine, limited dual diagnosis.
  • Join a growing group! Our team includes 4 providers, including 2 clinical psychologists, and recruitment of additional providers underway.
  • Spacious, recently renovated clinic setting adjacent to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (10 minutes from downtown Boise)

Schedule: Traditional workweek, M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 34 patient contact hours per week. No weekendsno call, no inpatient work.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program;
  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training required;
  • Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMC;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
