Pediatric Nephrologist - Faculty Physician

Due to our continued growth, the Division of Pediatric Nephrology, Brenner Children's Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Health, is seeking a board eligible/certified full-time faculty physician at a rank of Assistant/Associate Professor to join 3 other nephrologists.

Our division has an ACGME-approved fellowship program and provides comprehensive nephrology care including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, fluid and electrolyte disorders, a dedicated Hypertension clinic, nephrolithiasis, congenital urological anomalies, acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, apheresis, transplantation, prenatal consultation, renal ultrasound, and the capability of ultrasound-guidance renal biopsy. The position incorporates medical education of fellows, house staff, medical students, pharmacy residents, and PA students. Clinical, translational, or basic science research is not required but is welcomed, and there are many opportunities for collaboration with Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Hypertension and Vascular Research Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Center on Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism, and Center for Precision Medicine.

The hospital is a 180 bed tertiary care medical center with all pediatric subspecialties serving children from western North Carolina as well as parts of Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
