Avera Medical Group Pierre is seeking an emergency department physician:

  • BE/BC and Trained in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine
  • Fourteen 12 hr shifts or Seven 24 hr shifts available
  • Average weekday volume = 20 patients; weekend volume = 30 patients. Annually >8300 patients visits
  • Overall clinic includes 53 physicians and APP’s in 17 specialties
  • Full time general surgery backup for trauma.
  • Hospitalist, OBGYN, pediatricians available for admissions
  • Market area of 60,000
  • Physician will be employed by Avera McKennan

  • 80 bed long term care facility and transitional care unit attached to the hospital
