Stroke Neurology Opportunity Fargo, ND

Sanford Health is currently seeking BC/BE stroke neurologist to join their growing team of 14 neurologists and seven advanced practice providers in Fargo, ND. The medical center is a Level I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center. The department currently has two stroke neurologist in addition to faculty trained neurologists in the following areas:

• Neuromuscular diseases
• Multiple sclerosis
• General Neurology (outpatient)
• Movement Disorders
• Headache
• Epilepsy

Practice Details:

• Subspecialty fellowship training is preferred for subspecialties
• Predominately hospital practice with some clinic.  Stroke call shared with stroke neurologists.
• 4 APP’s to support the stroke service
• Neurohospitalist coverage for general neurology service.
• Work in collaboration with colleagues in neurosurgery, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation
• Obtain an academic appointment at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences with an opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and to educate medical students and residents
• Neurology Residency with 3 residents per year.
• Serving 1 million patients over 200,000 square miles across ND and MN. Metro area population is 240,000
• Currently provide neurology subspecialties of neuromuscular disease, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, headache, stroke, and sleep
• Sponsor of H1B visa,  cap-exempt
