Vibra Healthcare is opening a BRAND NEW inpatient acute rehab hospital in Lexington in September 2022. We are looking for a Medical Director to run the hospital (34 beds). With this role, you will have the ability to run your own practice or be employed. There is a Medical Director stipend as well. This role is open to PM&R or internal medicine/family medicine/neuro with 2 years of rehab experience will be considered.
Responsible for collaborating with the management team in organizing and directing the provision of physical medicine and rehabilitation services in the inpatient unit for the Hospital in agreement with all applicable federal, state and local laws and standards, rules and regulations. Responsible for providing medical services to the patients in the hospital, and will provide professional and administrative services for the hospital

Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption. Unvaccinated employees on an approved exemption must submit to weekly COVID-19 testing and wear a respirator at all times while in the facility.
