OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Mercy Health Physician Partners (MHPP) is seeking a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our Mercy Health Cardiology team located in Muskegon, Michigan.

Mercy Health Muskegon is an active member of the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, along with member organizations at Trinity Health Saint Mary’s and University of Michigan Health – West, with the goal to create the highest quality, innovative, comprehensive cardiovascular care for the people of West Michigan.

The selected candidate will join a collegial 11-physician medical and interventional cardiology group providing comprehensive cardiovascular care for lakeshore communities of Western Michigan for almost 50 years. Responsibilities will include dedicated electrophysiology (EP) and atrial fibrillation care, including complex ablation (ventricular tachycardia, cardiac rhythm management and other left sided tachycardia).

The EP Program started in 2017. On an annual basis 380-400 complex ablation procedures occur in Muskegon and 60 or so devices in Grand Rapids. The hospital has one dedicated and one part-time EP Labs with fully integrated CARTO mapping systems.

Completion of an Electrophysiology fellowship is required. Physicians must be board certified or board eligible in their specialty and will become board certified within two years of becoming board eligible. A State of Michigan license, DEA license, and ACLS and BLS certifications are required at time of employment.
