Seeking a General Cardiologist to practice in Fort Worth, Texas

• MD candidates preferred
• Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease completion required from an accredited program
• Board Certified/Board eligible in Cardiology required

• Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) Heart and Vascular Specialist Fort Worth
• THPG Heart and Vascular Specialist Fort Worth is a cardiology practice with 18 physicians and 13 APPs. The cardiology practice was founded over 50 years ago (previously known as Consultants in Cardiology) by Dr. Robert Capper
• In general call rotation 1:4 weekends, but we are developing a call schedule with additional providers – this physician will also assist with hospital consults
• Candidate needs to be certified/eligible to read nuclear studies and cardiac CTA.  In addition, TEE skills are required.

With the opening of the $300 million Jane and John Justin Surgical Tower on April 2, 2022, Texas Health Fort Worth expanded to an 850-bed facility with the capacity to increase to 1,000 beds. Starting in July 2022, the Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth TCU School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program welcomed the first internal medicine residents. The TCU School of Medicine recently announced plans to open its new campus adjacent to Harris Methodist Hospital in 2024.
