Advanced Surgical Technology, independent thriving multi-physician practice is expanding and seeking a Urologist to join our practice!

Qualifications:

• Board certified / board eligible
• MD or DO
• Experienced providers or new graduates (community-based residency preferred – not academic program)
• Can support H1B visas and J-1 waiver applicants

Advanced Surgical Technology

• Advanced Surgical Technology offers vascular surgery, general surgery, primary care, aesthetic services, and plastic surgery. The practice has 3 surgery locations: Mt. Vernon, Centralia, and Herrin.
• Currently, the team includes 1 general/vascular surgeon, a plastic surgeon, breast surgeon, and an internist.
• 3 surgery nurse practitioners, and 13 primary care mid-levels; 2 of which focus on behavioral health.

Job Description:

• The incoming physician will be able to work out of multiple offices in the area to insure the best care is available to our community.
• Urologist must be comfortable performing cases in office with bigger urology cases being taken to hospital, ie. Urologist must be robotically trained and perform invasive procedures.  
• Currently, there are 2 nurse practitioners who see and round on surgery patients
