As an Allergist at Allergy San Antonio, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with allergies and immunologic disorders. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that improves the quality of life for our patients. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to identify allergies and immunologic disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based medical practices and tailored approaches to meet individual patient needs.
• Administer allergy tests, such as skin prick tests and patch tests, and interpret results to diagnose specific allergens.
• Prescribe and manage allergy medications, immunotherapy, and other treatment modalities to alleviate symptoms and improve patients' overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists, to provide coordinated care for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about allergies, treatment options, and preventive measures, empowering them to actively participate in their care.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in allergy and immunology by attending conferences, workshops, and participating in professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to practice growth initiatives by building and maintaining strong relationships with referring physicians and networking within the local medical community.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and delivering the highest quality medical services.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Previous experience in private practice or multi-specialty group settings is a plus.
