Rheumatologist Needed in Conway, Arkansas

Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway (BHMC-C), in conjunction with Arkansas Health Group (AHG) is seeking a BE/BC Rheumatologist to join its staff. BHMC-C is a 111-bed facility, one of eleven (11) hospitals within the Baptist Health System, Arkansas’ largest and most comprehensive system. This hospital opened in 2016 as a state-of-the-art facility.

There currently is no Rheumatologist on the BHMC-C staff and there is one other located on the campus of another hospital across town (222 beds). The patient draw area covers a five county area that comprises almost 200,000 patients. Consequently, this area is underserved in this specialty.

AHG is the employed physician group for Baptist Health. Currently there are over 500 providers in this group. This opportunity provides a base salary with a competitive benefits package. There is also an opportunity to earn incentive compensation based upon production, patient satisfaction, quality, and medical staff involvement. This opportunity may qualify for a J-1 waiver.

Conway, known as the City of Colleges, is home to three colleges. With a population of over 70,000, it is one of the fastest growing communities in the state, yet still retains its small town charm and community spirit. The city boasts eleven parks, two lakes, art galleries, and a community theater. The downtown area offers many shopping and dining choices.

All physician positions are for Board Certified or Board Eligible MDs or Dos. All physicians must be able to obtain Arkansas licensure before they begin practicing.
