As a General Dentist, you'll gain valuable experience and start building your practice as a member of the distinguished U.S. Army Dental Corps. You’ll treat Soldiers and their families suffering from diseases, injuries, and defects of the teeth, jaw, and mouth, and practice across the field of general dentistry to ensure that each Soldier is in optimal oral health.

Upon being Selected for position, applicant will be directly commissioned into the U.S. Army in the rank of Captain to Lieutenant Colonel depending upon experience level.

Military pay works a-lot differently than civilian pay so I have included the below incentives to help explain salary.   Add the below incentives to a Captain's pay salary to come to the amount of $195,500 a year starting.  This amount is not including the $120,000 in student loan repayment or free healthcare and dental benefits.  These special incentives are subject to change so apply soon.

1. $150,000 sign on bonus. (4-yr contract)
2. $20,000 yearly Incentive Pay bonus
3. $30,000 yearly Retention Bonus 
4. $8,000 yearly Board Certification Pay
5. $120,000 Student loan repayment
6. Free Health care for member and family
7. Free Dental insurance for member, and low-cost dental insurance for family.
