General Cardiologist – Jefferson Health, Southern New Jersey

Jefferson Health New Jersey is currently seeking applications for a full-time, employed non-invasive general Cardiologist to join our community physician group, Jefferson Medical Group. This is an opportunity to become part of a newly established and rapidly growing general cardiology practice, currently consisting of 2 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider. In 2022, Jefferson Health launched the New Jersey branch of the Cardiology service line in Sewell, NJ and opened their second location in Voorhees, NJ in October.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills to practice outpatient and inpatient general and consultative cardiology. A strong interest in echocardiography, with at least COCATS level 2 training and NBE board eligibility or certification, is required.

Responsibilities include: outpatient general and consultative cardiology office practice; on-call coverage; and participation in the echocardiography laboratory and stress testing. Future responsibilities to also include: patient care on the cardiac consultative and inpatient services.

Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD/DO degree, as well as be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases. Advanced training in echocardiography/imaging is required. The successful candidate must possess a license or be eligible to practice medicine in New Jersey by the time the appointment starts.
