Job Summary:

• Opportunity to lead and develop an advanced heart failure program for the HCA Midwest in Kansas City
• Board certified or board eligible in heart failure & cardiology
• Ideal candidate will be proficient in heart failure evidenced through completion of heart failure fellowship or 2+ years experience with clinical focus in heart failure
• Eligible for state licensure in the states of Kansas and Missouri
• Call rotation 1:4 or better
• Proficient in echocardiography including TEE
• Hybrid of a community/ academic practice, with teaching and clinical research opportunities

• Our cardiovascular team consists of 4 cardiothoracic surgeons, 17 noninvasive clinical cardiologists, 13 interventional cardiologists, 9 electrophysiologists, and 40+ advanced practice providers
• Physician-led board/governance structure that directs the strategic direction of the service line
• ACGME accredited cardiology fellowship program started in 2022
