The University of Miami Health System, Miller School of Medicine is in search for an Assistant Professor in the Neuro Oncology Division, Department of Neurology.

Practice Overview:

  • Provide care for inpatient and outpatient services at UMH, UMHC and Neurology clinics at UMHC and satellite locations
  • Treatment and prevention of neurological diseases, specializing treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors
  • Treat patients with neurologic complications from malignancy (leukemic or lymphomatous meningitis, hyperviscosity syndrome, peripheral neuropathies)
  • Research effort will be devoted to development of novel clinical protocols, conduct of clinical research and conduct or facilitation of translational research
  • Provide teaching to students, residents and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participation in research programs in metastatic brain tumors and complications arising from the malignancy

Desired Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • General Neurology fellowship preferred
  • Board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended
  • Florida medical license, prior to start
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
