Rheumatologist-Fellowship Director

THE METROHEALTH SYSTEM at CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking one full time clinical faculty (clinician/clinical educator or clinical researcher) at an Assistant/Associate Professor Level for a position in the Division of Rheumatology who will lead the rheumatology fellowship. We are seeking dynamic individuals BC/BE in Rheumatology for an expanding academic division. Physician scientists are also welcome to apply.

Candidates for Assistant Professor should be BC/BE in Rheumatology and interested in participating in the academic and teaching programs within the division. Candidates for Associate Professor should have a national reputation for their clinical, teaching and/or research excellence. This role requires five years of experience post-fellowship. 

Our Division is a growing academic program at a Case Western Reserve University affiliate and as such one of the CWRU Clinical Science and Translational Award hubs. An NIH funded Center for Health Disparities, a Population Health/Health Outcomes Center and a Clinical Informatics Fellowship and Division are all based at The MetroHealth System which is both a CWRU affiliate hospital and the Cuyahoga County safety net hospital.

Responsibilities for the position include being the director for the rheumatology fellowship, clinical work and teaching (fellows, residents, and medical students) as well as participation in research and quality improvement programs within the division and institution.
