The community of Greenville, SC is gaining a Gastroenterologist. Dr. Kalathil will be joining Internal Medicine Associates of Greenville this fall.
Dr. Y, a Gastroenterolost with IMAG, met with Leslie Thompson, Physician Recruiter for PracticeMatch Services, on the 23rd of March this year to discuss adding a new physician to their group. Upon her return from Greenville, Leslie initiated a sourcing campaign on behalf of the group. She contacted Dr. Kalathil during a cold call campaign and submitted his CV to Dr. Y. “His credentials and ties to the area made him an ideal candidate,” remembers Thompson. After she submitted his CV, an interview was soon set for August 2, 2007.
Dr. Kalathil was a hit with Dr. Y and a second interview was soon scheduled for August 14, 2007. Without a hitch in negotiations, a contract was signed on the 24th of August, only 30 days after his first interview.
